The Patrick Henry Ballroom

History

In 1925, The Patrick Henry opened as a grand colonial revival style hotel. It continued operating as a hotel until it closed in 2007. It was purchased and renovations began in 2009 where it was brought back to life and re-opened in 2011 as luxury apartments and modern commercial spaces.

Specialties

The Patrick Henry is a mixed use building, with both residential and commercial components. There is a variety of floor plan options for apartment living, and commercial opportunities range from upscale restaurant and retail, to Class A professional office space. Some of the common spaces that long-time Roanokers remember, such as the Ballroom, have been restored to their original grandeur and are made available for public use.
