About EBA Energy Bar Association ( EBA ) is a non-profit voluntary association of attorneys, non-attorney professionals, and students, whose mission is to promote the professional excellence and ethical integrity of its members in the practice, administration, and development of energy laws, regulations and policies. Established in 1946 as the Federal Power Bar Association, the Association generally was focused on those lawyers practicing energy regulatory law at the federal level. In 1977, the organization changed its name to the Federal Energy Bar Association to reflect the name change of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. Today, Energy Bar Association is an international, non-profit association of members active in all areas of energy law. It has over 2400 members, six formal chapters accross the U.S. and an increasing number of members across the United States and Canada.

Founded in 1901, the National Electrical Contractors Association, also known as N.E.C.A., provides a range of power, light and communication technology services. It serves the electrical construction industry in the United States. The association offers advocacy, education, research and standards development services. The National Electrical Contractors Association provides the design, installation and maintenance of electrical systems. It offers educational programs, trade shows and management training solutions. The association offers a variety of services related to fiber-optic materials, telecommunication and wireless networks. The National Electrical Contractors Association s local chapter managers negotiate and administer labor agreements with local unions of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. It operates more than 110 chapters that are independently chartered organizations that serve member contractors in their area.

The American Society for Microbiology ASM is the oldest and largest single life science membership organization in the world. Membership has grown from 59 scientists in 1899 to more than 39,000 members today, with more than one third located outside the United States. The members represent 26 disciplines of microbiological specialization plus a division for microbiology educators.
