The Chesapeake Inn

The Chesapeake Inn is a perfect retreat for a weekend getaway or a weekday retreat from the chaos of everyday life. We offer twelve beautifully renovated rooms, each with a unique mix of vintage and modern furnishings, a chandelier and a seating area for two in a style we call "coastal elegant" - pretty enough to make our guests feel special but laid-back enough to put your feet up! We are dedicated to true personalized service -- we truly want our guests to feel like the Inn is "their retreat by the river." We don't have an official check-in time and don't ever want our guests to have to wait. Instead, we do our best to make sure our guests' rooms are ready when they arrive! We don't charge extra fees: our rates include snacks and waters and the full use of our amenities (including our bikes, surreys and kayaks), and we welcome pets and families (again, no extra fees). Plus, we provide everything you might need for a weekend away including wireless internet service, 32" LCD televisions, luxury personal amenities, full size refrigerators, microwave ovens, and on site parking. Enjoy the delicious seafood at our wonderful restaurant onsite, the Half Shell Grill, play a game or relax in our lobby/living room or grab a bite at one of Urbanna's other restaurants (6 within a couple blocks of us). Use one of our complimentary kayaks to enjoy Urbanna Harbor, peruse the antiques stores and other shops, or take one of our pedal operated Surreys or bicycles for a joy ride around historic Port Town Urbanna. Nestled in the heart of town, you are only a short stroll to all of our little town's beauty! And the Chesapeake Inn is pet and family friendly, so bring your four-legged family members and kids along:) Come visit us to play, shop, and relax!
