Stephanie Powell has been teaching private piano and violin for the past twelve years in the Bay Area, Northern Virginia and Chicago. She graduated from Wheaton College Conservatory near Chicago with a degree in music education. She enjoys teaching students of all levels! Although Stephanie is a classically trained pianist and violinist, she enjoys teaching and performing alternative music styles such as bluegrass and jazz to students of all levels. Prior to arriving in California, Stephanie taught orchestra at Trinity Christian School in Fairfax, Virginia to students in grades 4-12. When she isn't teaching, Stephanie enjoys hiking with her husband, Stephen, and German Shepherd Dog, Scout.
