St. Margaret's School is accredited by the Southern Association of College and Schools and the Virginia Association of Independent Schools. Founded in 1921, it is one of the six church schools in the Episcopal Diocese of Virginia. St. Margaret's School is a member of the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education, the National Association of Episcopal Schools, the National Coalition of Girls' Schools and many other professional associations. It serves more than 120 students.
