Welcome to St. George's St. George's Episcopal Church is a vital part of the Body of Christ in Arlington, Virginia. We have been a parish of the Episcopal Diocese of Virginia since 1908. St. George's is a community or worshipers that extends its faith in action. All are welcome to join us at either of our two worship services and in all our ministries. In the words of our Interim Rector, Philip Wiehe: I want to welcome you to St. George's Episcopal Church and hope that you will find our worship and our people to be representative of God's unconditional love for all. All of us are on different paths in our vocation, family, and spiritual lives, and this parish is here to serve you regardless of where you may be. Please do not worry about doing "the right thing" during worship. So long as you are here and God is here, everything is the right thing. St. George's founded the oldest Spanish-language Episcopal congregation in Northern VIrginia, Lglesia San Jos , which continues to worship on our premises. We also share our sacred space with the Amanuel Ethiopian Evangelical congregation. What's New Register for Sunday School Sunday School classes begin Sunday, September 19. You can register you son or daughter at church on Sunday, September 12, or you can register on-line at anytime. Classes meet from 9: 30 to 10: 15 each Sunday in the upstairs classrooms. Download Rev. Philip Wiehe's homily given at the memorial service for Cynthia Clark. The Food Pantry continues to need cases of water. Your assistance has not only helped contain our expenditures but with logistical problems of providing water to our thirsty clients. We also badly need your help in maintaining the food stock of the Pantry. New to St. George's Welcome to St. George's Episcopal Church in Arlington, Virginia. Find out more about us.
