Mellen Street Creative

We're in our new renovated building at 9 E. Mellen Street. The new location incorporates the design studio upstairs with ample room for display work along with all the other graphics projects. Downstairs, we have a retail lobby offering cards, custom invitations, announcements and some gift items, along with imprinted promotional products. We have the perfect corporate or hostess gift personalized for that extra touch! New Product Line Mellen Street will launch a new product line in late fall "Give Your Home a Name". What's it all about? Just like people name their boats and vacation houses, you can give your home a name as well. We'll walk you through the process of generating just the right name, then design your icon or embellishment with the name and send you a certificate with your personalized design on it. Plus we offer your home name and design on signs, robes, aprons, ball caps, mugs and more! Stay tuned for our launching date. Mellen Street Graphics is a Qualified Provider for the City of Hampton's E-Commerce Business Assistance Grant Program. That means we can design and develop your e-commerce website... and the City of Hampton will help pay for it! Call 757-723-7717 or email us for details. Jan Miller, president of Mellen Street Graphics, received the Citizen Diplomat of the Year award from Sister Cities of Newport News on June 24, 2009. The organization is comprised of citizen diplomats working for peace, understanding and economic growth. SCNN's mission is to build and strengthen international cooperation, understanding and development between the citizens of the City of Newport News and those of the world. They currently have sister city relationships with Neyagawa, Japan; Taizhou, China; and Greifswald, Germany. Jan Miller wrote an article about the upcoming move to 9 E. Mellen Street, and it was published in the May/June issue of Diversions. It announces the registered National Historic building status and shows a photograph on the inside wall on the second story of hand-lettered advertisement on what was once the exterior of the adjacent building.
