History

The art side ofthe business grew out ofour online presencemarketing custom printed wall murals and prints using a wide format printer. Representing so many talented photographers and artists since 1997 led to the desire to showcase even more artists for the world to enjoy and appreciate. In 2012, we pulled together adiverse group oftalented individuals ranging in age from 22 to 80. We havethree unique locations to display their work. Shenandoah Valley Artworks and LtdPrints.com have taken over most of the building I call home. This really began in the mid 70's at my home in Florida when I began taking personal art off my walls and giving the space to artists for the evening, getting a band to play in the backyard, and serving enough food to bring in the crowds. Promoting art has always been a passion because my art teachers changed my life by teaching me to see fully the world around me. 2012 began the business side of a heartfelt appreciation of those who dream to create.

Specialties

This 1850 Brick Federal history rich building houses 2 floors of fine art, pottery, music, books, fabric art, jewelry, and furniture by over 38 artists from throughout the Shenandoah Valley. We are proud to represent Linda L. Anderson, Armando Cavada, Taylor Kaldes, Ren, Wolfgang Nuedorfer, and Laura Sherrill. . The Pot Town Pottery Room keeps Strasburg's pottery tradition alive with the work of 8 potters. Open 7 days a weeks so that your schedule is never a problem. We even offer private appointments for professional interior decorators, architects and others who are tasked with purchasing art for others. Music: 3rd Friday of the month features Music and More from 7 until 10 PM when the musical talent is always different. Live Jazz, Rock, Piano, inside or out depending on the weather. Very laid back and always free Book signings and lectures are held from 2 til 4PM on the last Sunday. We are always family friendly and even have a water bowl outside for our four footed friends.
