Blue Ridge Community College

Blue Ridge Community College, located in Weyers Cave, Va., is part of the Virginia Community College System. Founded in 1967, the college has been serving the residents of central Shenandoah Valley of Virginia for more than 30 years. Its comprehensive program of instruction includes associate degrees, diplomas and certificates in occupational and technical, and college and university transfer programs. Blue Ridge Community College also provides noncredit work force training, and special interest classes for individuals, and business, and industry professionals. Potomac State College of West Virginia University offers a range of career and technical programs and associate degrees. The college offers programs in the areas of hospitality and tourism, criminal justice, applied science and forestry technology. The college organizes a variety of sports activities, such as baseball, golf, softball, volleyball, basketball and soccer.
