Beautiful , shaded park that is a bit of a hidden gem since it's not very often talk of around the area. They have hiking trails that are for beginner and also for ones that are a bit more advanced.

My favorite hiking spot. It's huge and not a lot of parking so it limits the amount of people coming through. Different trails with different hiking levels and steepness. Ends up at the Potomac...

Quiet National park that connects to Potomac Heritage Trail. Very flat and paved. Plenty of parking available when we got there at 9:30 am on Sunday.
