Rye Cove High School

Rye Cove High School is an educational center that offers learning opportunities to students. It employs a staff of more than 35 teachers and paraprofessionals, including custodians, media specialists and nurses. The institution enrolls children in grades 9 through 12. Rye Cove High School conducts classes in math, English and social studies. It also provides learning sessions in earth, physical, family and consumer sciences, as well as physical education. The institution conducts special education sessions and offers options to learn band and arts and crafts. Rye Cove High School celebrates costume, decade and celebrity days. In addition, it organizes volleyball competitions and celebrates homecoming nights. Located in Duffield, Va., the institution s sports activities include basketball, football, softball, baseball, and track and field. Rye Cove High School is a part of Scott County Public Schools, which operates Yuma Elementary School and Fort Blackmore Primary School.
