Ruff House Dog Park, located in Rockwood Park in North Chesterfield, VA, is the only county-owned site in Chesterfield County dedicated to providing a space for dogs to exercise and socialize. The park offers two kennels equipped with benches, water, and convenient parking for visitors and their furry companions to enjoy.
Originally maintained by the Friends of Ruff House Dog Park volunteer organization, the park is now overseen by Chesterfield Parks and Recreation. With a focus on community involvement, Ruff House Dog Park continues to welcome volunteers to help maintain the park and participate in various events throughout the year.
