Mundet International custom prints, slits and perforates cigarette-tipping paper and provides related technical services to its customers. The company was established in 1959 with the purchase of a Canadian plant. Mundet then purchased a New Jersey plant in 1980, which was moved to its present location in Buena Vista. Colonial Heights Packaging was acquired in 1992. The company is women-owned and comprised of three plants; two located in Colonial Heights and Buena Vista, Va., and one in Toronto. Mundet tipping papers are an integral part of major cigarette brands throughout the world. It supplies a number of major international cigarette manufacturers, as well as many regional and independent producers. Mundet International s corporate office is located in Richmond, Va.
