Small Groups, Big Ideas. Hello there! My name is Shelley and I adore talking about people, especially the ones that lived in the past. As for my past experiences as an interpreter, AKA Guide, I started my career with the National Park Service (NPS) where I became a park ranger. You know, those people with the funny hats. You may have seen me at The Frederick Douglass National Historic Site, Cape Cod National Seashore, The Chesapeake and Ohio Canal, and more during my seven years of service.
