We are more than willing to answer any questions you may have and minister to your spiritual needs, or serve you any way we can. We invite you to explore the various aspects of church life here and to become a part of our church family if you don't currently have a home church. We pray that God will bless you in the days ahead. Sincerely, Pastor Tim and Sharon Cerce Harvest Church first opened its doors in March 1992. Planted by Pastor Tim Cerce and his wife Sharon, the Assemblies of God congregation originally met in rented space in the Sacramento Center, a strip mall located on Richmond Highway in southern Fairfax County, Virginia. The church met there for nine years, becoming a presence in the community through its ministries and outreach programs. Significant among these was its ministry to the residents of the Eleanor Kennedy Homeless Shelter through the supplying of meals and its Christmas outreach to the residents of the Mount Vernon House, a housing facility for senior citizens. When the cost of renting space in the Sacramento Center became prohibitive, Harvest Church moved into temporary facilities in June of 2001. The congregation met there for nearly two years. In April 2003, the church moved into its current facilities at 7401 Beulah Street in Kingstowne, one-half mile from the Franconia-Springfield Parkway. After thoroughly renovating the facilities, the church held its first service there April 20, 2003, Easter Sunday.
Lutheran Church

Concordia Lutheran Church

Concordia was established in 1960. Its primary mission was to serve the military community at Quantico. Since that time the mission has expanded to include government and private sector residents in Prince William County and the surrounding area. Over the years Concordia has sponsored the development of missions in Woodbridge, the Fredericksburg area, and Stafford. We see ourselves as a caring congregation. We offer small group ministry, caring elders and one-on-one and family counseling with Pastor Knill, who has a doctorate in this field. We offer a variety of traditional and non-traditional worship experiences. In addition to Sunday morning services we offer the following special services: Advent Midweek, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, Lenten Midweek, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Sunrise ( 7 a.m. ) and Thanksgiving Eve. We are community oriented. We offer a food ministry on a weekly basis. We host a Girl Scout Troop and a Cadet Troop. We offer the facilities in our "Ark" ( a modular building that formerly served as a mission church in Richmond ) for AA meetings Fridays and Saturdays at 8 P.M. We provide worship space for two other congregations. Pastor Knill has served Concordia since 1964. He was born in Seymour, Indiana, and baptized at the Lutheran church in the small farming community of Sauers, where his grandfather was pastor. He attended the Lutheran elementary school in Seymour and the Lutheran high school in Ft. Wayne. Near the end of his first semester at Amherst College, in Massachusetts, he responded to a strong urge to study for the ministry and enrolled that fall at Concordia college in Bronxville, NY. He received a B.A. from Concordia Sr. College in Ft. Wayne and a Master of Divinity degree from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, in 1964. He served his vicarage ( internship ) year at Trinity Lutheran Church in Orlando, Florida. He was ordained by his grandfather and installed as pastor at Concordia, August 2, 1964. In 1995 he received a Doctor of Ministry degree from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, with an emphasis in counseling and small group ministry. The Minister of Music is Bill Hadden. Bill is both the organist and Choir director. His "regular" job is Director of Finance for all NAFI activities at Quantico. Feel free to speak with Bill after services concerning our music and worship program. If you play an instrument, let Bill know. Cleaning Services Our janitorial service is performed by Chris Knill. For weddings or other special events, contact us to arrange to have the facilities cleaned after those events. Full participation and the opportunity to grow in the six functions of the Christian Church: Worship, Nurture, Witness, Fellowship, Service and Stewardship. Our ministry is grounded in Word and Sacrament and carried out in the love of Jesus Christ.
