Dr. Thomas Martinelli specializes in joint replacements of the hip, knee, and shoulder, as well as sports medicine and caring for broken bones. He served four years in the US Navy. Dr. Martinelli is the treasurer at Inova Alexandria Hospital and serves as team physician for several local high schools. His family is of the utmost importance, and most of his free time is spent with his wife, 2 married daughters and their husbands, and with the newest member of the family, his first granddaughter.
