The closest public equine facility to Chincoteague Island, Queen Hive Farm offers trail riding for ages 4 and up, no experience necessary. We also offer pony rides and vacation boarding for horses whose owners want to ride on Assateague beach. In addition to horses, we have Nigerian dwarf goats, heritage turkeys, many breeds of chickens and geese, a donkey, a Jersey steer, as well as other animals.

My sister and I rode horses for the first time. We had a great time and the team made it very easy as a first time rider. It was a very enjoyable trail. I had a great time. I recommend.
