Peninsula Reads, located in Newport News, VA, was a non-profit organization dedicated to adult literacy for over 55 years. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond their control, Peninsula Reads permanently closed on August 16, 2023. However, many of their services have been taken on by Literacy for Life, which has expanded from Williamsburg into Newport News.
