Phil Smith

Brad is an experienced commercial lender responsible for managing a loan and deposit portfolio focused on small to mid-sized companies. He began his career in financial services in 2004 and joined TowneBank in 2008. Brad is a Portsmouth native and has served local community organizations such as Portsmouth Museum Foundation, Lefcoe Leadership Foundation, Portsmouth Economic Development Authority and Transportation District Commission of Hampton Roads. Currently, Brad serves as the Vice Rector for his alma mater, Christopher Newport University where he earned his Bachelor of Science. “Serving my members and my community are my top goals. I’m motivated to contribute whatever I can to help shape the community where I work and live!”

Patrick joined TowneBank in 2021 and serves as branch manager for our Olde Towne location. In his role, Patrick manages the daily operations at this office and leads his team to help members achieve their financial goals. Patrick earned his bachelor's degree in English Literature from the University of Mary Washington and his master's degree in Educational Leadership from Old Dominion University. In his community, he has served as Program Moderator of the Vann H. Lefcoe Leadership Program, as Vice Chair and Board Member of Christopher Academy, and as Secretary and Treasurer of the Olde Towne Business Association. He also volunteers with other non-profit organizations such as the Chesapeake Bay Clean Up, Virginia Beach Neptune Festival, Salvation Army, and the Girl Scouts. “I love helping our members find the best financial solutions for their unique banking needs.”
