The National Utility Contractors Association (NUCA) is the leading trade association dedicated to representing the interests of utility contractors in the United States since its establishment in 1964. With a nationwide network of state and regional chapters, NUCA advocates for the underground utility and excavation contracting industry, ensuring that their members' concerns are addressed at various legislative and public administrative levels.

NUCA's mission focuses on enhancing the operational efficiency and financial performance of its member companies while actively seeking increased funding for the nation's aging underground infrastructure. Through various programs, advocacy efforts, and educational initiatives, NUCA strives to improve conditions for both open-cut and trenchless contractors in the industry.
