The Northern Virginia Ethical Society (NoVES) is a humanist congregation dedicated to fostering ethical growth and community engagement. Founded in 1876 by Felix Adler, NoVES promotes the values of Ethical Culture, striving to bring out the best in individuals and build a more humane world through programs and activism.

Affiliated with the American Ethical Union, NoVES collaborates with over 20 societies nationwide to implement Humanist values at the community level.
