History

My Pet's Friend, founded by long-time Warrenton resident Beth Whistler in 2009, has grown from two clients to more than 450 clients in its 9-year history. Along with her husband Joe, Beth dedicated her life to working with Warrenton's residents and their pets and turned My Pet's Friend into Fauquier County's premier pet sitting and dog walking company. Today, Beth and Joe continue to work with My Pet's Friend and their many customers. The love for our dog Barney gave us the idea of starting a pet sitting business. After he and our almost 20-year-old kitty passed, we had a huge hole in our hearts and needed to fill it with lots of pets. We started on our first day of business with 2 clients...one in Warrenton and one in Marshall.

MY PET'S FRIEND'S goal is to provide your pets with love and care and a feeling of security in their own home. We also provide you with a stress-free and comfortable way to handle your pets' needs while you are away from home. We treat your home and privacy with the utmost care, respect and honesty. We specialize in pet sitting in your home anywhere from 20 minutes to overnight. This includes dog walking, kitty sitting, pet feeding, litter scooping, plant care, and home security. We also take care of your horses, snakes, rabbits or almost any other pet.
