History

My Baby Steps Academy is a continuation of my journey and passion for children care and development in early stages. I am a mother of two young and talented ladies and a talented pre-school teacher. I have been involved in children education and early development for kids over 20 years. Presently I teach 25 two year old precious kids and have done so for the past three years. I realized that I wasn't able to provide them with the one on one attention I felt they needed at such a crucial developmental state so I decided to turn this passion into a home day care and get State License. Here I keep a very small student: teacher ratio so that I am able to provide care and attention as well as being able to really teach the children age appropriate material. I offer a self designed curriculum which includes a weekly letter, number, color and shape. My focus is on teaching through play and helping the children learn to communicate and express their feelings.

Some Facts about My Baby Steps Academy Our facility is licensed with Fairfax County Nilda is CPR and First Aid certified Professionally trained Pre K Teacher Day care is located in a beautiful newly built house with half an acre outside play area Languages offered to be taught to your kids at no additional costs are Spanish and Dari (Farsi), Urdu We follow a specific age appropriate activities with our children which includes circle time, story time, free play, alphabet and number recognition, group and team work, painting, exercise indoor/ outdoor and much much more..... Fresh and nutritious homemade food which meets the USDA requirements are made fresh daily Our Primary Goal is Educating, Loving, Caring, and Cooking fresh and healthy food which are the components for early stages of growth
