Dr. Alexander is board certified in Medical Oncology, Hematology and Internal Medicine. He has practiced advanced medicine at Virginia Oncology Associates since 1998. Dr. Alexander received his Bachelor's degree in Biology and his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, Virginia. He also completed his Internal Medicine residency and Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at the University of Virginia School of Medicine.

Dr. Nina Balanchivadze, MD, FACP, is a dedicated medical oncologist and hematologist based in Norfolk, VA, with a focus on providing personalized, state-of-the-art care for cancer patients. With extensive training from prestigious institutions and a commitment to leadership and education, she is recognized for her clinical expertise in breast cancer and classical hematology. Dr. Balanchivadze has received numerous accolades throughout her career, including multiple Resident of the Year awards and recognition for her research contributions at national conferences. As a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and an active member of several professional organizations, she is passionate about delivering compassionate care and advancing cancer treatment.
