Merrimac Farm Wildlife Management Area in Nokesville, VA, is a 301-acre property managed through a partnership with DWR, the United States Marine Corps, and the Prince William Conservation Alliance to preserve wildlife habitat amidst urban development.

This unique WMA offers opportunities for hunting, fishing, wildlife viewing, and outdoor education in diverse habitats including bottomland hardwoods, cedar thickets, old fields, and a large expanse of bottomland hardwoods along Cedar Run.

I was disappointed by this place. There is no visitor center and no bathrooms. Woodsy areas next to large farm estate homes. The best thing was the shade the woods provided while driving in.
