Sentara Pediatric Hospital Medicine Physicians - Our team will Supervise and coordinate all areas of your child's care during his or her stay. Provide an on-call physician 24/7. We respond quickly to any changes in your child's condition. Communicate with your child's primary care provider so he or she knows what's happening while your child is in the hospital. If your child doesn't have a primary care provider, let us know immediately. Our team will help you find a doctor. Discharge Planning When your child is ready to be discharged from Sentara RMH, our pediatric hospitalist team will coordinate follow-up care with the primary care physician and any outpatient tests and procedures as needed.
