Mathes-Hopkins Track Complex

The Matthes-Hopkins Track Complex, located on the Liberty University campus in Lynchburg, VA, is an outdoor track and field facility that opened in 1989. Named after the founder of Liberty's track and field program, Jake Matthes, and the university's first women's track coach, Ron Hopkins, the complex has been a key venue for NCAA Division I competitions since its inception.

Renovated in 2012, the facility boasts a state-of-the-art track surface and features eight 48-inch lanes, multiple throwing sectors, and dedicated runways for pole vault, long jump, and triple jump.
