The Round Hill Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department is a dedicated group of 36 volunteers who work tirelessly to provide the highest quality service to the Round Hill community in Virginia. With 16 operational members and 20 administrative members, they spent a total of 11,302 hours in 2022, including answering calls, training, and running the company. Their commitment to fire prevention and safety is evident through their involvement in public education, facilities and vehicle maintenance, and personnel management. Sparky the Fire Dog, the official mascot of the National Fire Protection Association, has been an integral part of the Round Hill Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department's efforts to educate children and adults about fire safety. With a variety of educational resources and campaigns, Sparky has helped reduce fire loss and injuries in North America.
