History

Sara started her career with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Virginia. She then worked at a free-standing birth center along the Texas-Mexico border, providing prenatal, childbirth, and postnatal care. Upon return to Northern Virginia, Sara worked in Inova's Family Centered Care (postpartum) unit, caring for new mothers and infants. Sara has also worked for the Arlington County DHS in Teen Health & Family Planning Services. While completing her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Pennsylvania, Sara worked as a Lactation Consultant RN at Pennsylvania Hospital. After becoming a mother, Sara decided to open her own business to help other women enjoy breastfeeding and motherhood.

Lactation Consultation and Childbirth Education. Breastfeeding help when you need it! Visits can be performed in your home, my office, or virtually. I am in-network with Aetna & Blue Cross Blue Shield! Visits available to help support you in your breastfeeding, pumping, or feeding goals. Prenatal and Return to Work Planning sessions also available! Prenatal (Group & Private Classes Available) for Childbirth Education, Breastfeeding, and Infant Skills Classes.
