Dr. Truitt is a native Virginian, born and raised in Virginia Beach. He graduated from Virginia Tech with honors in 1999. He then graduated with honors from Virginia Commonwealth University's School of Dentistry in 2003. Dr. Truitt completed his four year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency from VCU in 2008. He entered private practice in 2008 and started Truitt Oral Surgery in April of 2012. Dr. Truitt is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Truitt's specially interests are third molar surgery, dentoalveolar surgery and outpatient general anesthesia.
