Jin Zhang, MD

Catherine McCann-Shelton is a board-certified physician assistant who specializes in gastroenterology. She has a particular interest in the following conditions: Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) Irritable bowel syndrome Catherine earned her undergraduate degree from Old Dominion University and her master of physician assistant studies degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School. She worked in an emergency department before choosing to specialize in gastroenterology.

Dr. Kang grew up in Queens, NY, and earned his undergraduate degree from State University of New York at Stony Brook. He attended Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he graduated at the top of his class. Dr. Kang then completed his internal medicine residency at Grandview Medical Center in Dayton, OH, and worked for a year as an academic hospitalist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. He subsequently completed his fellowship in gastroenterology from HCA Healthcare/University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. While there, he served as the chief GI fellow.
