Founded in 1996, James City County Library is a part of Williamsburg Regional Library. The library maintains a collection of books, magazines, newspapers, databases and reference materials. Its range of audiovisual products includes CDs, DVDs, cassettes and video tapes. It provides books on a variety of topics, such as mystery, fantasy, science fiction and literature. James City County Library also organizes various events for students, including story sessions and reading activities. The library s adult services department conducts computer and Internet classes. In addition, it operates a mobile library that offers services and educational programs to home-bound patrons, child care centers, and convalescent homes and shelters. Located in Williamsburg, Va., James City County Library provides renewals, interlibrary loans and reference services to its members.
