12500 Eagles Nest Rd
Charles City, VA 23030
Nestled among 5,000 pristine acres of protected gamelands, the Inn at Eagles’ Watch is one of Virginia’s few surviving 17th century brick dwellings. Listed on both State and National Historic Registries, the original structure dates to approximately 1685. It was meticulously rehabilitated in the early 1980s under the guidance of Colonial Williamsburg’s architectural research team. On a bluff overlooking the unadulterated Chickahominy River, visitors will experience unmatched tranquility and unexpected luxuries. The Inn at Eagles' Watch has several unique accommodations each with their own special charm. Guests also enjoy access to the characterful common areas. Take in the breathtaking landscape from the living room with floor-to-ceiling windows onto the front yard and river. Unwind in the study chock-full of artifacts, history books and games. Watch birds and wildlife outside from the veranda with panoramic views of the serene wetlands below, or enjoy a game of bocce on one of the oyster shell courts. Breakfast is made fresh daily in-house by our innkeepers with guests' personal tastes in mind. We invite you to getaway from the ordinary and experience a taste of the good life here in Charles City. Located 20 miles from Williamsburg, 40 miles southeast of Richmond and approximately 150 miles from Washington, D.C.
