History

This cute little ice cream shop in Old Ashburn started as a Hershey's Ice Cream shop. It became JR's Soft Serve & Italian Ice in 2017. In 2019 the owners of Veritas Artizen Chocolate, Andrea Howard and Chris Volz purchased the store. Now that they will be able to combine their chocolate business with the ice cream products offered, they'll be able to stay open all year.

Specialties

Premium Ice Cream, Italian Ice, and newly added...liquid nitrogen ice cream! We are also a chocolate company, making craft Bean to Bar Chocolate and chocolate treats. We produce and deliver Fruit Bouquets/Chocolate Strawberries Locally, as well as Catered Events/Ice Cream Socials, Sundaes, Shakes, Floats, ice cream cakes, pies, and sandwiches.
