Dr. Brenner is a pediatrician and a breastfeeding medicine specialist. She and her partners at General Academic Pediatrics supervise 66 pediatric residents and 150 EVMS medical students each year in outpatient pediatrics. Dr. Brenner serves on the CHKD Children’s Health System Board of Directors and as the medical director of the King’s Daughters Milk Bank and has completed a fellowship in Integrative Medicine at The Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine.

Dr. Carpenter was born in Orlando, Florida, and is a graduate of University of Central Florida. She obtained her doctoral degree at University of Hartford in Hartford, Connecticut. Her predoctoral internship was with Brigham and Women's Hospital/Harvard Medical School in Boston, where she worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings with medically complex individuals. She enjoys working with LGBTQIA+ youth and adults and performing psychological assessments.
