Hanbury Evans Wright Vlattas is a design firm that provides architecture, preservation, planning, interiors and landscape design services throughout North America. The firm is organized into seven studios that work together from project start to end. Each team is involved in the strategic and operational planning of the entire firm. It often works in larger groups in a knowledge cafe format for collectively brainstorming about projects or building conversation about potential research opportunities. The firm also has a fully outfitted, enclosed, model shop within its building in Norfolk, Va. Hanbury Evans Wright Vlattas was established in 1977 and incorporated in 1979. It has offices in Norfolk and Wytheville, Va., Cambridge, Mass., and Tampa, Fla.
