Established in 1982, G&R Metals provides welding repair services to the local industry. Its manufacturing capabilities include contract manufacturing, welding, metal fabrication, conventional machining, computer numeric control (CNC) machinery, wire engineering design and manufacturing (EDM) and repair work. G&R Metals operates as three strategic business units: repair work, small fabrication and machining services, and contract fabrication/ manufacturing. Located in Hampton, Va., it offers a wide range of services, such as machining, welding, fabrication, heat treating and many more. G &R Metals is associated with Dominion Terminal Associates (DTA), National Aeronautics Space Admin (NASA), Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility (TJNAF), MAXX Material Systems, LCC and many more.
