History

The idea for social justice in education for Richmond began in January 2017. The school is parterned with UUCC of Glen Allen.

Specialties

GACM is a year-round Montessori parent cooperative excited about allowing families the opportunity to have a choice in their children's educational options, regardless of social status and income. Social justice in education is our foundation. We serve 3 to 6-year-olds in a Montessori Primary environment. The Primary environment offers half day (8am to 12 noon), full day (8am to 3pm) with five, three, and two days a week options. We also serve 6-12-year-olds in a Montessori Elementary environment. Extended Care option both before (7:30am-8am) and after (3pm-5:30pm) the regular day. The school is located at the Unitarian Universalist Community Church. The school and our curriculum are separate from the church
