The Friendly City Inn is undoubtedly the best place to stay in the Shenandoah Valley. While hotels in Harrisonburg and near JMU may be available, they are rarely as memorable. Originally designed with shipyard techniques, our Queen Anne-style mansion features grand parlors, wide staircases, and historic charm. The inn sits on two acres of gardens, with a carriage barn completing the picturesque setting.
