Discover Fountainhead Regional Park, 2,000 acres of rugged adventures in Fairfax Station, Virginia. Whether you’re a cyclist, kayaker or hiker. Riders of all ability levels will enjoy the loops and features of our challenging mountain bike trail. Fountainhead Regional Park contains shared-use hiking and equestrian trails and provides trailhead access to the 19.7 mile Bull Run Occoquan Trail. Kayak, power boat and canoe rentals are available, or bring your own to our boat launch ramp on the Occoquan Reservoir. If you’d rather stay on land simply relax and cast a line at the fishing pier.

One of my dogs favorite hiking spots. The bike trails are good too, although this park is nestled way out of suburban NOVA areas like FFX.

For fishing I can't recommend it. I'm sure the folks who stock it do their best, but the amount of pressure here leads to diminishing returns. You won't find a relaxing oasis. Instead suburbanites...
