While I was here for only a few minutes, I thought this was a nice park. The park does not have much to offer, but the sights are pretty nice, and I think it's a good place to a small picnic....
We were able to come here for the fourth of July and have a picnic set up for fireworks. Plenty of space when its not a holiday and a great view of the water.
It's a nice park, no doubt about it. For those who like a simple area by the Potomac River, this could work for you. There's good places to run the dogs here. Yet the parking headache is real....
Nice little walk along the waterfront. When the weather is nice there is a volleyball court that you can take advantage of. Wide walking paths towards shops and restaurants.
