Nicholas Cavano joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in February 2021. He is excited about the opportunity to help people make the smart financial decisions that are essential to long-term financial security. A graduate of ITT-Technical Institute with a Bachelor’s degree in Information System Security, Nicholas holds Series 66 and 7 securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in Virginia, Maryland, and DC. Understanding that the biggest obstacle to financial security for most people is their own behavior, Nicholas serves as a personal financial coach to clients, continually reinforcing positive financial behaviors. He advocates time-tested financial principles, including disciplined, long-term saving and investing, careful debt management, and a thoughtful insurance strategy to manage financial risk. Nicholas will work with you to establish specific, meaningful goals that are consistent with your values and then develop a personalized financial plan to guide your pursuit of those goals. In his free time, Nicholas enjoys running, spending time with family, and working out.

She enjoys painting, music composition and performance, gardening, interior design, running, ballroom dancing and traveling.
