Jim Bade joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in February 2002, following a 20-year career in the United States Army, where he attained the rank of SFC. Jim understands the challenges and opportunities associated with life in the military and is committed to helping service members and their families get their financial lives squared away. Jim holds Series 6, 7, 63, 65 securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in VA, NC, MD, TX. Understanding that the biggest obstacle to financial security for most people is their own behavior, Jim serves as a personal financial coach to clients, continually reinforcing positive financial behaviors. His thorough knowledge of military pay and benefits enables him to advise clients on how to navigate the Blended Retirement System, properly allocate their contributions to the Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) and take full advantage of other benefits. Jim will work with you to establish specific, meaningful goals that are consistent with your values and then develop a personalized financial plan to guide your pursuit of those goals. Active in his community, Jim is a member of SAMC (Sergeant Audi Murphy Club) & AUSA (Association of the U.S. Army). In his free time, Jim enjoys hiking, spending time with family, and traveling. Harry Jaeger joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in October 2018, following a 25-year career in the United States Navy, where he attained the rank of Commander. Harry understands the challenges and opportunities associated with life in the military and is committed to helping service members and their families get their financial lives squared away. Harry has a Bachelor’s degree in History from Virginia Tech and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Naval Postgraduate School. He holds Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in Virginia, North Carolina, and West Virginia. Harry is committed to coaching clients to pursue their financial goals and lifetime dreams by bringing sound financial knowledge and trustworthy advice to a lasting relationship with each individual and family he serves. Active in his community, Harry is a member of St. Edward's Catholic Church and spends much of his free time moving his four kids to and from extracurricular activities. His family also has two dogs, Fletcher a rescue mutt and Pepper a Golden Retriever. He takes every opportunity to be active outdoors with his family and friends.
