HistoryAs a medical, psychiatric and community nurse, Anne Stockbridge, founder of Family Priority, developed expertise in helping children challenged with emotional and behavioral disorders. Her counseling career afforded her a wealth of experience in providing intensive in-home services to families who needed care, assistance and, most importantly, compassion. Her experiences inspired her to launch Family Priority in 2001 in Fairfax, Va. Over the years, Family Priority expanded, opening additional locations in Williamsburg and Richmond. As we grew, we maintained our focus on providing customized care to families. Today, our staff of more than 100 helps families across Northern, Central and Eastern Virginia.
