Fairfax Academy

The Fairfax Academy, established in 1977, is a learning center that offers education to students in prekindergarten and kindergarten. The school conducts classes in language arts, math, science and social studies. It also offers behavior modification sessions. The school provides various activities that include dance and arts and crafts. It focuses on group participation activities and introduces students to visual and auditory discrimination concepts. The Fairfax Academy also offers sports activities, including basketball and soccer. Its summer program includes a range of activities, such as swimming, roller skating, music, pony rides and bowling. In addition, the school conducts field trips and supports a variety of before- and after-school programs. The Fairfax Academy is located in Arlington, Va.
