Located in Norfolk, Va., Eastern Virginia Medical School offers a variety of educational, research and patient care services. The school provides a variety of programs in different health professions, including applied biotechnology, biomedical sciences clinical embryology and Andrology. It offers research projects in pediatric immunology, epidemiology, infectious diseases, pharmacology genetics and neonatology. Eastern Virginia Medical School provides training and educational programs for health-care industry professionals who care for people infected with HIV. In addition, the school conducts clinical investigations of new medication, therapies, infant formulas and vaccines. It has partnerships with rural and urban clinics, modern hospitals and other health care centers.
