I did not go in with high expectations, to be honest. A small museum for an out of the way place's history that is free of charge..... I assumed a few table displays and some tourist brochures....

I Came for a trip tracing in my ancestry, the Essex County Museum was a wealth of information. In various books I was able to find information about my family members going back to the late 1700s....
