Rajat Garg, MD, specializes in general and interventional cardiology as well as peripheral vascular disease. He is board certified in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. "I was drawn to interventional cardiology because we can now make someone feel better almost instantly," he said. "When a patient comes in the throes of a massive heart attack, we can stabilize them and alleviate their pain within minutes. You could call it 'instant gratification'."

Subash Bazaz, MD, FACC, specializes in general and nuclear cardiology and is skilled in the use of echocardiography, including transesophageal echocardiograms, to diagnose cardiac conditions. He is board certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine and is the director of non-invasive studies in the Catheterization Lab at Inova Loudoun Hospital. "My goal as a cardiologist and as a doctor is to work together with my patients to make the best decisions about their health," he said.
