DePaul Family Services, a nonprofit and nonsectarian human services agency, serves the communities of central and southwestern Virginia. It was incorporated in 1977 and is located in Roanoke, Va. The agency provides community-based services that support individuals and families of the community. It offers a wide range of programs, including treatment foster care, developmental programs for the physically and mentally disabled individuals, clinical services and adoption program. They offer free services to survivors of traumatic brain injuries, strokes, cancer, and other acquired brain injuries, regardless of income, across Southwest Virginia and parts of Central and Southside Virginia. The organization provides a range of support services, including case management, a telehealth program called Community Living Connection (CLiC), and a volunteer pairing initiative known as PALS, which fosters socialization and recreational activities.
