We teach karate for the purpose it was originally intended -- Self-Defense. No fancy high-kicks and flips. We teach skills you can use on the street if you need them, these skills are disallowed in tournaments. We teach Adults. Yes, there are some teens in our classes (13+) and we love having them. But the average age of our students is 45-55. So there are many seniors in our classes training in self defense, getting fit, improving balance & flexibility. You are never too old to start your karate journey. Train with a 9th Degree Karate Master with over 45 years of teaching experience. Denise teaches Women's Self Defense Karate, the Mom & Teens Self Defense Classes as regular mixed classes.
